How to buy Rubies?

Hello All,

I get a lot of questions from people who do not have a Credit card about how to buy Rubies.

Here are your options:

Paypal:

Paypal is the most secure option out there. You can sign up with paypal and then link your bank account to Paypal. Then you can do transactions through Paypal. It is secure, no worries. I have been using Paypal for last 8 years now and never had an issue with security. Make sure your password is very strong and you change it every 2 months.

Usually a strong password is combination of
lower case alphabets + Upper case alphabets + numbers + special characters (!, @, #, etc)

Never give your paypal password to anyone. Be careful of phishing emails. Go to G and search for Phishing to know more about it.

As per RBI guidelines, you will have to do a lot of documentation if you are Indian. believe me, it is a pain, but there is no other way out.

Once your account is active, pray to God nothing goes bad as Paypal has the WORST Customer Support on planet Earth.

Skrill (MoneyBookers)

I have used them in the past and had no real problem with them as well. I am not sure if you can link your debit card directly or not.

Mobile recharge:

I have never used this personally as it gives only small number of Rubies.

This is what the description says:

How does BOKU work?

BOKU is quick and easy to use:

* Enter mobile number
* Receive text message confirmation
* Reply as instructed to confirm
* Receive text message with PIN code
* Enter PIN code

Charges will be made on your wireless bill or deducted from your prepaid account.

It's that simple - no bank account or credit card needed. We don't even ask for financial details.

So I guess, it works only if you have a prepaid cell phone SIM card.

It is Mcafee secured so no real threat of hacking or misuse of your cell phone card.

I have just shared my experience with the readers and if anything goes wrong or if your account is hacked, I am not to be blamed. :D
